Outside Leather

Every leather is unique, and the leather of every pair of gloves differs. The variations among different pieces of leather make your gloves special, authentic and contribute to the uniqueness of your pair.

  • The  calf leather or buffalo leather are the leathers in which the surface is the most important part and the fibers are  at the same time natural and irregular. These characteristics make these leathers  particularly resistant and high quality materials, which have earned them the nickname of "diamond of leather".

  • The goat leather "Cabrette" is soft and durable. It is mostly used for fabrication of gloves, footwear and wallets, thanks to its  robustness and suppleness. No other leather can support such "torment", without ever tearing itself at the level of creases, unless being regularly maintained by way of being greased on both its sides.

The  finishing
  • leather " Full fragrant " is a leather having kept its surface of origin. The noble part of leather, showing the characteristics of the skin: natural fibers and wrinkles.
  • leather "Aniline " is a leather " Full fragrant " on which transparent finishing is accomplished by a very light protective film which confers on the skin the softness and the suppleness.

CORDURAOutside Textile

Cordura ® is a particularly solid textile fiber of DuPont.
It is a textile extremely resistant to abrasion (4 times more than normal nylon, or even 20 times more than cotton). The slightly harsh surface is typical for this cloth. The melting point of this fiber is in 210°C. The unit of measure of Cordura is the denier. The weight of the thread is measured in grammes for a length of 9000-meter thread. A textile in Cordura 500D is fabricated of a thread the weight of which is 500 grammes for 9000 meters.

Outside Protections

Protections PU-Badaan ® the reinforcement of gloves: high density protectors of the knuckles, fingers, cuff, are made of Polyurethan pads called Badaan ®. These protectors are covered by leather reinforced by Kevlar fibers. (intelligent shock absorption and resistance).

Insert Hipora®

Hipora ® is a textile which has  two main features: it is waterproof (Hydrophobe) and breathing at the same time, what makes it  a comfortable fabric to be worn during sports and outdoor activities.
Its impermeability can be explained by its chemical composition of polytetrafluoroethylene, commonly known as Teflon.
This fabric is composed of one billion four hundred million nano-pores in one square centimeter, of a diameter of 0,2 micrometers, so 20 000 times smaller then a drop of water (that owes its " big size " to the strong electronegativity of the molecule of water) but 500 times bigger then  a molecule of water. Gases being constituted by distant molecules and the steam of water (of which the transpiration is made) have no problem therefore to cross through this fabric.

THINSULATEInsulator Thinsulate C200g

Thinsulate is a synthetic fiber used for the manufacturing of clothes and gloves, when  thermal insulation is a desired property.
The name " Thinsulate" derives from the  words " thin " and "Insulate".
The fibres of Thinsulate measure about 15 µm and are finer than the classical fibres of polyester used as thermal insulation in ready-to-wear clothes. It is thus the size of fiber and the increased density, which are at the the origin of Thinsulate effectiveness as thermal insulating and excellent moisture evaporating material , according to its manufacturer - 3M.

MICRO FLEECELining Polaire Micro-Fleece

The textiles known as Polaires are the  synthetic  insolation materials composed of  Polyethylene terephthalate (P.E.T) and of other synthetic fibres.
It is an innovative, resistant textile created  to reproduce or even exceed the performances of wool. The polaires fibres share certain qualities of wool, but are much lighter.
The lining made of polaire fibres is therefore light, hot and comfortable; it dries fast, and lets the skin breath.
